Some guy told my brother and me that we had to be in the military, as enlisted men, for four years before we could go to OCS. We are interested in serving, and applying for OCS. Neither of us has been in the military.

There is an NCO equivalent for every officer position, or at least that’s how it is in the Army.
You got a SFC(E-7) who runs the platoon, and a 2nd LT(0-1) who runs the platoon.
