Should I Talk To A Recruiter Before Making Any Decisions Involving The Us Military?
When I am a few years older and able to speak with a recruiter, should I contact one before making any military related decisions, such as going to a certain college for a certain degree to go in as an officer, or enlisting and using certain benefits?

You can ask a real soldier anything and get a reply within an hour or two max. He was in the Special Forces and has a lot of experience and is very helpful and friendly. He’s been a GREAT help with everything, describes everything in detail. I highly recommend it. Go to the “Ask Questions” page to ask a question
You can speak to a recruiter but they sometimes bend the truth. Your best bet may be researching online or asking questions like on here. Or if you know a trusted military member from the branch you desire to join you can get information from them. Military members have access to all the information you are looking for.
