ASVAB Test

The best way to all but guarantee entry to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or the U.S. Coast Guard, is by passing the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Practice Test. If you’re serious about joining the military, then get serious about the ASVAB! The ASVAB is a multi-aptitude test which is given at over 14,000 schools nationwide, and maintained by the Dept. of Defense.

How important is this ASVAB test?

Your scores in four critical areas — Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension and Mathematics Knowledge — count towards your Armed Forces Qualifying Test (AFQT) score. The AFQT score determines whether you’re qualified to enlist in the U.S. military. Your scores in the other areas of the ASVAB determine how qualified you are for certain military specialties. Score high, and your chances of getting the specialty/job you want increase.

Scoring high on the ASVAB will require study and concentration. Don’t skimp on preparing for this test — read about what you should prepare for, and take our practice test, which gives you an idea of how well you’ll score, identifies areas that need improvement and suggests resources you can use. It’s your future. Get the most out of it!

Passing the ASVAB test may seem hard now, but with the right study guide, and some time, preparation and effort, you too can do it! :)
